Our Philosopy : We love the sport of Gymnastics! From that love, we strive to help every gymnast reach their potential while maintaining the joy that this sport can offer. We hope to see each child develop strength, flexibility, poise, confidence and determination as they excel and mature. We know that not every gymnast can be an Olympian, but we want each girl to feel like a champion every time they take the floor to compete.
How does a child get selected for team? We select girls from our GymKids programs at several different times during the year. Our team staff, as well as their individual instructors, evaluate kids and make recommendations to the Head Coach. These gymnasts are then selected to become part of our Pre-Team. This is an introductory level that will prepare each girl for competition. Based on skill achievement, gymnasts progress through the ten Junior Olympic levels.

We opened TEGA in 1995 with 40 kids, of which 30 where part of our first competitive team. Texas Elite Gymnastics Academy is the largest Junior Olympic training facility in West Texas. In fact, our state-of-the-art facility rivals many clubs throughtout the state of Texas. We have always been truly dedicated to the development of our young gymnasts. That commitment to excellence within a safe and fun environment has produced many State, Regional and National Competitors. We have also had several girls receive scholorships to major universities.
